I may have entered my SS # in wrong applying for stimulus how do I fix this. I checked e-file status on irs.gov and said my number hasn't been registard

It depends. If you have already filed your tax return, then your information does not need to be submitted again for the stimulus payment. 

Otherwise, we are still waiting for IRS guidance regarding updating or providing direct deposit information for the stimulus payments and how they will be distributed to these type of accounts. We will have more information once the government finalizes the details.

If your return was submitted with the wrong social security number, it should be amended.

Use the name of file with Social Security.
