I'm trying to amend '21 1040 line25b to change to $0 - how do I get to that line? I'm going in circles with the online questions and can't get to that specific line.

I have no support for the amount on that line and don't know how it got there.  When I try to amend my return I get all kinds of prompts for similar 1099 questions, but nothing pulls to that amount.  How do I get to the data for that exact line to change it to zero?

If you are using the CD/Download you can switch to Forms Mode and go to the specific form and line to edit it.

How do I switch to Forms Mode in the TurboTax for Windows software?

This option is not available online. Line 25b is the federal withholding from any 1099 forms. You will have to use the Menu to navigate to the section 1099 forms section and re-enter the information from the 1099.

You must have entered a 1099R form for retirement or 401K or IRA.   Or a 1099G for unemployment?  Some kind of 1099.   The withholding on line 25b comes from a 1099 box 4.
