I have applied for ITIN and it will take one month to receive. so once received what are the documents required to mail for state returns ?

You do not need to attach any documents to your state returns regarding your ITIN.

If you applied for an ITIN (Form W-7 and your documents) when you filed your 2018 federal return, then when you receive your ITIN , just input the ITIN on your state return before mailing.

I have this same question, I asked the California office and said to wait for the ITIN or my State return would get rejected. I'm filing married jointly and applied for my husband's ITIN but I have SSN. Where do I need to input my husband's ITIN in the State return? the dummy SSN I used for him in the Federal is not mentioned anywhere in the State return, is just my SSN the one mentioned in the State's return.
