I have a question about the refund advance that TurboTax offers when you e-file your taxes with them. Okay so, I applied for the refund advance & the info says that in most cases I’d receive my advance within the first 1-2 hours after the IRS accepts your refund & that I’d also receive an approval/denial email from bank that Credit Karma uses with their checking/savings account’s but I haven’t yet received an approval/denial email from them & I e-filed my federal & state returns on the 8th (of this month) & the very same night, within roughly 15 minutes, I received my acceptance email from the IRS. So, it goes without saying that I’m definitely confused as to why I haven’t received anything from either TurboTax, nor Credit Karma either one about the refund advance, as to wether I’m going to be approved for it or not. TurboTax said that Credit Karma will be sending the email notifying me. So, I deci to reach out to Credit Karma & they said they have no information having to do with anything to do with the refund advance. I can’t even find a help/support email address where I’m able to email TurboTax to ask them what is happening with it & why is it so hard to get an answer on this specific subject. Anyone else have this trouble or received a refund advance from TurboTax? If so, how long did it take for you to get the refund advance? Please help if possible, I’d love to know what’s going on & why I can’t get any answers from anyone.
