MY STATE REFUND WAS LESS THAN I EXPECTED
The state will send you a letter explaining the change. TurboTax does not get any feedback from your state after your return is accepted, so no one at TT knows why your state refund was less. Did you owe back taxes, child support, or student loans? Traffic fines, etc.?
I only got my federal taxes and never received my state and it’s telling me it was accepted but still yet to reach my account and I got my federal 3-4 weeks ago what is going on I want my money

To check the status of an e-filed return, open up your desktop product or log into your TurboTax Online Account. You can find your status within the TurboTax product.
If accepted by the state use this TurboTax support FAQ to check the state tax refund status - https://ttlc.intuit.com/questions/1899433-how-do-i-track-my-state-refund
If your state is taking way longer thats because they're in the middle of taking out money from your state refund because that's exactly what happened to me. I was supposed to get back $315 in state returns (or at least that is what turbotax estimated) and THEN they took out over a hundred dollars leaving me with $193 with no explanation. Then they send me a letter 4 weeks after I already got my state return that I was supposed to get before I received my state return explaining why they took out that hundred.
I was supposed to be refunded $1032.00 on my Michigan return. I received a direct deposit amount of $641.00, short $391.00. Please explain. I owe nothing to the state, taxes, child support etc.....

Once a tax return has been Accepted by the IRS or a State, TurboTax receives no further information concerning the tax return or the status of any tax refund.
Your state will be sending you a letter in the mail explaining the changes that were made to your tax return which reduced the state tax refund. There should be a procedure in the letter for how to file a dispute if you disagree with the state's changes.
