You should have received an email within 24 to 48 stating whether your returns were accepted or rejected. The email might have gone to your SPAM folder. You can also check the status of your e-filed returns.

Once your returns have been accepted, the IRS states that nine out of 10 e-filed tax returns with direct deposit will be processed within 21 days of IRS e-file acceptance. Mailed paper returns: If you filed a paper return, please allow 4 weeks before checking the status. Refund processing time is 6 to 8 weeks from the date the IRS receives your tax return.
The IRS expects the earliest EITC/ACTC related refunds to be available in taxpayer bank accounts or debit cards starting February 27, 2018, if these taxpayers chose direct deposit and there are no other issues with their tax return.

What is the procedure if it is over 48 hrs and I did not get a reply that it was accepted or rejected? It did not go into spam and other returns I filed from the same copy of Turbo tax have been responded to.

I did not get either an email or a text notification of filing or acceptance of my tax returns. I have file 2 returns, with both an email address and a text number when filing to get notifications. I got neither the email or the text in either case. I checked online, and the returns have been accepted. But TurboTax is not sending the notification emails or texts. Why not, and how can I get this fixed, please? Thanks!
I don't need to be told repeatedly with automated messages what should happen. I've been doing this for 15 years, and it always worked before. I know how this works, except it doesn't, and I need a fix. Thanks.
You may want to check your spam, deleted, or junk mail folder for those notifications. If they aren't there and you did sign up to receive those notifications, you may want to reach out to TurboTax customer support for additional assistance with this.
