I cannot open my 2021 return

The online system in now in transition from 2021 returns to 2022 returns.  Your 2021 return may be “frozen” during this transition—until early December.  You will be able to access the return you started by using the exact same account and user ID that you used when you started it.   But you can no longer use online software for any further changes.

The TurboTax online editions for tax year 2021 have closed.

If you completed and filed the 2021 tax return using the online editions -

To access your prior year online tax returns sign onto the TurboTax website with the User ID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/

Scroll down to the section Your tax returns & documents.  Click on the Year and Click on Download/print return (PDF)

If you did NOT complete and file the 2021 tax return using the online editions -
