I applied for the refund advance and now my return has been accepted, but I haven't received anything regarding the advance.

same exact was accepted today at 2:30 pm and nothing in my credit karma spend account ? I wouldn’t have even had it go in that account if I had known this would happen !

I don't think anyone would have had it sent to this card.  None of us even have the card yet!  And now my faith in their digital card isn't good at all.  In fact my faith in the company in general is very shaky.  I totally see nothing but problems going forward and think we will all be lucky if we even get our money when the IRS sends the actual refund.  I doubt anyone is getting the advance.  At first I was planning to tell them I want a refund for the price I paid to do my taxes because I think that's the least they can do, but now I am planning to contact a lawyer about a class action lawsuit against them for this.  Let me know if you guys our interested because this is the type of situation class action lawsuits are designed for.

This is a lie 100% I was accepted  by the irs and approved  for the loan and STILL over 48 hours later STILL HAVE NOT SEEB MY TAX ADVANCE!! YALL TAKE TURNS TELLING ME TO CALL CREDIT KARMA AND THEN CREDIT KARMA TELLS ME TO CALL YALL. THIS IS CRAP! I was told by credit karmas bank they sent the funds on the 24th guess what still not on the card yall made me sign up for. And no one knows where 2000 went!

I used turbo tax on 1/20/22 and E-filed with the option to get a advance refund through credit Karma which I already had a spend account with. While submitting it said I was approved for a refund advance, and will receive funds usual within 1-2 hours. 

The only emailed I received was from turbo tax confirmed my order and then the next day email confirming my state and federal had been accepted. 

I never received anything from Credit Karma or any money. Turbo tax doesn't know and I can't reach a human on CK number.

Has anyone received their refund advance yet? I did my refund today and they said I was approved for a refund advance. The irs has accepted my return today at 330pm eastern time. And it’s now 8pm and I still haven’t received my refund advance payment….. has anyone else had a delay with their payments also? And if so, how long did it take to receive your advance payment?

So after calling Turbo Tax 59 times lol I got 2 English speaking reps who provided me with the same info. I explained, no advance and it’s now been 7 plus hours and I’m not even showing record of me even applying! Which I know I did, bc I got a pre approval amount and a credit karma checking acct. I was told the advances are behind! She said she see where I applied but it’s only showing pending and not approved bc it’s behind and that’s why I haven’t received an approved or denied letter! But it’s records of me applying. 2 reps confirmed this as well as saying an email was sent out today to tell customers that it will take up to 48 hours. I think it will take a lil longer MAYBE but they have acknowledged it’s a delay! FINALLY! I think 48hr time frame is just to keep us quiet! lol but It should be coming soon HOPEFULLY!

If you go to turbotax and download your submitted return the first few pages discuss the advance loan through credit karma. The number and info for century bank who the loan is through is there. I intend on calling them tomorrow and see whats going on. Hope this might help. I have not received any email correspondence from credit karma or turbo tax regarding the advance.

So now I’m a bit nervous because I didn’t get a pre approval amount I was only promoted to open the credit karma spend account. Now I’m thinking the system didn’t even set me up to apply properly 😭

I spoke to a representative yesterday. Drive they switched from turbo card to credit karma it's different from previous years. They said that AFTER you've been accepted via the IRS you have to wait 24-48 hours.. Then after another 24 hours if your re-approved you'll get the advance. The initial approval is not from the actual bank allowing your advance, it's from credit karma. The representative "assured" me that if I've been approved in previous years I more than likely would also be approved this year but she couldn't confirm. I honestly feel like we may have all been fooled this year to inadvertantly sign up for credit karma. We shall see.
