If this first method doesn't provide the state returns, then use the second method which is to go to the Print Center inside the return.
Log into your account and go the 2016 Tax Timeline
Scroll to "some things you can do".
Find a link there for "download all forms and worksheets" . Does that larger PDF have what you need?
If not, try this alternate method which is to open the return and print from the PRINT CENTER:

Thank you for this information! I was able to find out return to print. Every time I clicked Download/Print, it gave me the one page File by Mail Instructions for your 2019 Florida Tax Return. So frustrating. Going through "Add a State" then "Tax Tools" on the left, I was able to get to the print center. Wacky system.
Thank you!

This is actually a thread from 2 years ago that transferred into this new Community forum, so the directions to the Print Center above are not the current steps, but perhaps you figured that out.
You mentioned Florida. Florida does not have a state income tax. There is not a "state return" per se, and most people will not have to file anything in Florida. Florida filers who have businesses or rental property with tangible personal property have to file a Form DR-405 with the county property appraiser by April 1 of each year. See this brochure:

If you paid for a Florida state return you don't need, you can speak to Customer Support about a refund.

FAQ: What is the TurboTax phone number?
https://ttlc.intuit.com/questions/1899263
This did not answer my question. When I try to process my state return using turbo tax premier it tells me my software is up to date but does not show any information. I have purchased turbo tax premier and turbo tax home & business (which I have deleted). Whats my problem? I have been using turbo tax for years and never encountered this issue.
Is this for Windows? Try this manual update below for troubleshooting:
We do apologize for the issue that you continue to experience. Please click What is the TurboTax phone number and choose the version of TurboTax that you are using to connect with the correct agent. Let the agent know that you are having problems with a known issue and that you need for them to push the state download.
I have spent the past few hours trying to get back into my almost completed 2019 return
[phone number removed]

You didn't provide any information explaining your situation. So here are 3 possibilities. Is it one of these?
Are you using Online TurboTax and can't access your account (can't log in?) We can tell you how to troubleshoot that to regain access, reset password, etc.
Or can you log in OK, but does TurboTax think you were finished, so your return is closed? If that's the case, then to open up the unfiled return, click on "Add a State." That doesn't really add one; that just opens the return interview back up.
Or do you log in OK, but find no evidence of the return you started, and it's acting like it wants you to start one? If that's the situation, we can tell you how to troubleshoot for multiple accounts.
BTW, this is a public Internet forum. It looks like you posted your phone number in this public forum, but the forum privacy filter luckily appears to have redacted it for your protection. Please do NOT post personal info in this forum. No telling who could have phoned you and pretended to be from TurboTax in order to scam you. It may be possible to resolve your issue in this forum, but if you need to speak to TurboTax Support, we can tell you how to reach them.
