I already filed my return. I used the standard deduction because it was higher than the deductions I entered. But I want to check to check that I included everything.

Where I can I go back and see the numbers I entered. They are not on my completed return because I used the standard deduction.

You can check all the deductions you entered on the 2022 return in the PDF to download if you use Print Center and the option for all worksheets.

To access your current or prior year online tax returns sign onto the TurboTax website with the User ID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/

When you sign onto your online account and land on the Tax Home web page, scroll down and click on Add a state.

This will take you back to the 2022 online tax return.

Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the online program screen.  Then click on Print Center.  Then click on Print, save or preview this year's return.  Choose the option Include government and TurboTax worksheets

Be very careful when breaking into a filed return when using the ONLINE program ... if you make any permanent changes it will affect what gets forwarded to the next year's program.   Return the tax file to the way it was filed if you do make any changes.

How do I change from the standard deduction to itemized (or vice-versa)?

Yes, I know I can see that the standard deduction is listed on my filed return, but what I can't find are the deductions I entered that totaled less than my standard deduction and therefore were not used on my actual return.  Can I see these anywhere?

@kprzybocki-gmail You can see those entries that are on the Schedule A for itemized deductions by using Print Center and then option for worksheets if you used the 2022 TurboTax online editions.

Thanks! I think my mortgage interest was not deducted because it I refinanced two years ago and some of the refinance loan went to paying off my car loan. Most of it however was used to refinance my original mortgage debt. Why didn't Turbo tax ask me to break this down into the two components so that I could deduct at least a portion of my mortgage interest this year. Instead, TurboTax gave me zero deduction.
