How to fix: Form 8962: Your calculations could not be completed. Reference code: 6-399-259?

I’ve tried everything. This terrible company won’t connect me to a person to speak to about it. It will not let me file my taxes due to not having a 1095-A form despite me not using the Healthcare Marketplace. I’ve gone through my whole W2 over and over and over and over to fix it and nothing is working. I made it all to the end before it was a problem so since TurboTax already “charged” me for this years taxes I can’t restart it from the beginning or go elsewhere!

If you are getting a message regarding your marketplace insurance coverage and you don't have marketplace health insurance coverage, first make sure you answered "No" to the question "Do you need to report any 1095-A's?"

You can get back to those screens in TurboTax to review them as follows:

1. Click on "Search" at the top left of your TurboTax screen.
2. Type "Form 1095-A" in the search box
3. Click on the link that says "Jump to Form 1095-A"
4. This will take you to the screen that says, "Do you need to report any Forms 1095-A's?"
5. Make sure this is answered "No"

 You should also delete Form 1095-A if it is included in  your tax return. You can do this as follows:

If you are using TurboTax Online:

1. In your left panel of your TurboTax screen click on "Tax Tools"
2. And then Click on "Tools"
3. Click on "Delete a Form"
4. Scroll through your list of Forms
5. Click the garbage can next to "Form 1095-A" if you have one listed.

If you are using TurboTax Desktop, you can:

1. Click on "Forms" in the upper right of your TurboTax screen to switch to "Forms Mode"
2. In your left panel scroll down and look for "Form 1095-A"
3. In your right panel at the bottom of Form 1095-A click on "Delete Form"
4. Click on "Yes" to confirm the deletion.

Form 8962 is for the Premium Tax Credit.  You should also delete this Form if it is in your tax return. You can do this using the steps listed above. Just substitute Form 8962 in place of Form 1095-A.
