You cannot change or add anything on the return that you just e-filed, nor can you stop it. It is too late, just like when you put an envelope in a US mailbox on the corner. The IRS does not allow you to take it back.
If you left out a W-2, a 1099G, or a dependent, or a 1099 etc…DO NOT change your return while it is “pending.” The changes will go nowhere.
Now you have to wait until the IRS either rejects or accepts your return. If your return is rejected, you will be able to go into your account and make the necessary changes to your tax return and re-submit your return.
If the IRS accepts your return, however, then you have to wait longer until it has been fully processed and you have received your refund. THEN you can prepare an amended tax return and e-file or mail it in. You have to be able to work from that return exactly the way it was when it was e-filed originally. You will need to use a form called a 1040X.
Meanwhile, DO NOT go in and start changing anything on your return in the system, or you will make a mess for yourself. Sit tight and wait until you see what the IRS does with the return you just e-filed

See this TurboTax support FAQ on amending a tax return originally completed and filed using the 2021 TurboTax online editions - https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/amending/help/how-to-amend-change-or-correct-a-return-you-already-...
I overlooked a 1099-DIV for a qualified dividend of $31.90. Do I need to amend my return for such a small amount. We took the standard deduction.
Although your form 1099-DIV for $31.90 will only result in a few dollars extra tax, it is better to amend as you can to report all income. The IRS has a copy of the form and automatic match will result in a letter to you which will cause more work in a year or two.
If you have already filed your return, you'll need to wait for your tax return to either be rejected or accepted, if it is rejected you can add your Form 1099-DIV, correct any other errors on the return and resubmit it.
If it is accepted, you will need to amend your return to add the Form 1099-DIV.
Amending won't delay your original refund. However, if you're amending to claim more money, the IRS says to wait until you've received your original refund before filing an amendment. Once you've received your original refund, feel free to cash or spend it while your amendment gets processed
Please be aware that Form 1040X will not be available in TurboTax until February 24, 2022, but once it is available, you will be able to prepare and e-file your amended return.
Please see this TurboTax article for instructions on how to amend your tax return in TurboTax.
