To e-file your return, you need your last year's AGI because the IRS is requiring it to verify your identity. To get your AGI you need to have a copy of your last year's return. You can print or download a copy of your 2016 taxes that you filed in TurboTax Online last year, then find your AGI. If you can't find your last year's return, you can still file by mailing in a paper return.
See the TurboTax FAQ below on how to get a copy of your return and on where to find your AGI on your forms.

Did you end up filing last year? If you did not file last year, then your AGI will be 0. If you did file, then the best place to get last year's AGI is from the 1040 form you filed with the IRS. Look on page 2, line 7. If you filed a 1040NR, it'll be on line 35. For information on ways to obtain your 2018 AGI, please click here.
I have a PAPER COPY of my 2019 tax return (1040-SR) but not the computer file which vanished with my old computer. I also still have the 2019 CD which I have reinstalled into my computer.
How do I re-enter last year's (2019) return into the 2019 CD program so I can import the results into this year's tax preparation files?
I still have the 2019 CD program and reloaded it onto my computer thinking I would be able to fat-finger the 2019 numbers into a "new file" for last year, save it and then import it into this year's program that I have purchased from Costco. However, I don't see a way to edit the 2019 program file by simply inputting the numbers from the paper file I have available.
There should be a simple way to open a 2019 "form" and input the data from the paper copy, save the results and then import the recreated 2019 file into the new 2020 file I will be working. Help please.

Also, what does AGI stand for?
AGI is Adjusted Gross Income. You need your 2019 AGI to efile 2020. The AGI is on 2019 1040 line 8b. If you filed a Joint return you use the same AGI for each spouse.

If you didn't file 2019 or filed it later in the year then try entering 0 for the AGI. If that doesn't work you will have to print and mail your return.
Or request a transcript from the IRS
