How do I correct an error. I want to edit a number.

The error on the form is highlighted but, I can't change it.

If you have not filed yet you can go back and change anything you want.  Click on Add a State to let you back into your return.  If you have filed post back for instructions.

The number that needs to be corrected is highlighted on the form but, I can't seem to find a way to delete it and eneter the correct number. I can't find a way to edit it on the form.

What is the form number you are trying to edit, federal or state?

Just figured out the solution. Corrected the info on my federal form and it was then corrected on my state form.
