I am using Turbo Tax Deluxe

Can you start the 2019 Deluxe program?  Then go up to FILE - OPEN?  Does your return show up?  Do you have the file ending in .tax2019 on your computer?  If you don't have the actual tax return file you might have the backup one that starts with a Tilde Sign ~ like ~your name.tax2019.  Check in your Documents folder.

Finished my 2019 taxes at the end of March, but since I owed I was waiting to file.  Just opened up my TurboTax a few minutes ago and it found an update.  I selected to update, but now I don"t show ANY of the work I have done. Help, please.

Sorry.  It's on my Mac book Air computer (one year old) and I used the Deluxe addition. I downloaded the program onto my laptop.

It depends.

If you just deleted the pdf file, you should still have the tax data file on your computer or the tax return in your program.

If you used the desktop CD/Download editions installed on your computer, the only copy of your tax data file and any PDF's will be on the computer where the return was created.  TurboTax does not store online any returns completed using the desktop editions.
