How can I correct my EIN number on my W-2?

You can go back to your W-2 entry screens and correct the EIN number.

If you are using TurboTax Online  you can:

1. Sign into your return
2. Click on" Pick up where you left off"
3. Click "Search" at the top right of your screen
4. In the search box, type "W-2"
5. Click on "Jump to W-2"               (See screenshots below for additional guidance)
6. Click on "Edit" next to the Form W-2 that you want to correct
7. Follow the TurboTax screens and answer all follow-up questions

If you are using TurboTax Desktop, you can:

1. Open or continue your return
2. Click "Search" at the top right of your screen
3. In the search box, type "W-2"
4. Click on "Jump to W-2"               (See screenshots below for additional guidance)
5. Click on "Edit" next to the Form W-2 that you want to correct
6. Click on "Continue"
7. Follow the TurboTax screens and answer all follow-up questions.
