Was your e-file accepted? If it happens to get rejected then you can still make that correction and re-file, and pay as much as possible with the return. Or request a payment plan.
As for requesting a payment plan based on the incorrect return you filed--if they accepted the e-file, it will take awhile for the IRS to process it and catch your mistake. I would hold off on requesting a payment plan at this time, since the IRS system does not yet show that you owe money to them.
You could make a partial payment now on the IRS site and request a plan later.

Did you already file your 2021 return? If not, you need to go to the estimated payments and remove that payment that you actually did not make, so that your return shows the amount you really owe now.
When you requested your extension you were supposed to pay your estimated tax due. Did you enter the payment you made into your tax return? Go to Federal>Deductions and Credits>Estimates and Other Taxes Paid>Other Income Taxes
Since you did not pay when you requested your extension, you will likely receive a bill later on from the IRS for penalties/interest. TurboTax will not calculate that for you.
If you have federal tax due you can pay by mailing your payment with the 1040V voucher, (which has the address printed on it, having the payment taken out of a designated bank account, or you can pay directly on the IRS website.

You must pay your state tax due using the state’s preferred method of receiving payment. For most states that will be by making a payment to the state’s own tax website, or by mailing a check or money order.

Hi Xmas,
I really appreciate the quick response, unfortunately yes I've already filed my taxes. That's why I was trying to submit the amended form, but I wasn't seeing that option and it really threw me for a loop. This is the first time I've filed for an extension which I'm now regretting doing. So, now I'm trying to see if I can make that change so I can make that payment so I don't get dinged and have to pay interest and or penalties. Also, I saw that one of the links you provided was for IRS payment plans, are you able to do a payment plan even when you've filed for an extension? Again I really appreciate your prompt response!

Hi Xmas,
Yeah it was accepted.
Nothing you can do now ... the IRS will catch this error ... no amended return is needed. You will get dinged now since you did not make the payment with the extension. So all you can do now to mitigate the damage is to pay the balance due asap. You can do it online here : www.IRS.gov/pay or wait for the IRS to bill you.
Out of curiosity, how long does it generally take for the IRS to catch the mistake and "bill" you?

All bets are off. It is taking the severely backlogged IRS much longer than normal to do most things, so we do not want to speculate on when they will bill you.
This is the first time I've run into an issue like this so I apologize for being a bit naïve, when they do "catch up" do they essentially send you a letter saying that they caught a mistake that you made and you need to pay X amount?
Yes ... they will bill you for the balance due + penalties + interest at the time the send the bill which could be months from now. Best to pay the IRS what you owe now and wait for the bill for only the penalties/interest accrued to the time of payment. Paying now will save you money in the long run.
I appreciate all of the replies folks. Can I make a "blind" payment to the IRS? Being that my total payment was $1,513 I can't imagine that the penalties/interest would be that much. I just don't want to make a payment to them and have not understand the context of it so to speak.
it could take the IRS months to bill you for the unpaid amount. meanwhile, late payment penalties are about .5% a month. but if you didn't file your return by 10/17 there's an additional penalty of 4.5 % per month for each month late for up to 5 months. the sooner you pay the less interest on the late payment that will be charged. you can request abatement of the penalties if you can give the iRS a reasonable explanation, in their judgment, of why you paid late but interest can not be abated. you can use their website to make payment
