Window closed on the 24th for people who entered on the 15th, disbursement by the 29th according to the bill.

I’m dealing with the exact same scenario. I provided my bank info (which is the same from when I filed my 2018 and 2019 taxes...so they should already have it to begin with) but, have not received my payment. The response I get from the “Get My Payment” site has been worded exactly the same since Apr. 15th. Can’t call anywhere to find out what’s going on either. I’m about to be evicted due to not working for a week and am in dire need of this money.

I did the same thing...updated direct deposit on the 15th and its the following Friday and still get that same message Once we have your payment date, we will update this page. Idk what is going on but I need this money before I lose everything including my mind

BF of one Granddaughter had a DD on 04/15 made under 20K.  Second Granddaughter had a DD on 04/15 made over 60K.  Another Granddaughter received a check in the mail on 04/24 and made less than 20K.

Just a few examples of there being no hard and fast rules who and when receives the stimulus payments.

I am definitely noticing a pattern of all of us that updated our info on the 15th have basically had no updates since then. Is there anybody that updated on the 16th? Or did they receive their payments and aren't concerned about this anymore?

I went into the Get my Payment Status upon the launch on Wednesday, April 15, 2020 at 7:00 A.M. and did not encounter any issues.  I submitted my bank account information and completed the steps in under five minutes.  I received the following message (and continue to receive the same message daily):

It is now Friday, April 24, 2020 and still no direct deposit of my stimulus payment, no answers or help!

Payment Status

You are eligible for the payment. Once we have your payment date, we will update this page.

We will deposit your payment to the bank account below.

Bank Account Number: ************5197

Updates to your payment are made no more than once a day. We will mail you a letter with additional information on this payment.

If you need additional help or do not receive your payment, please visit our Frequently Asked Questions page.

It is now Friday, April 24, 2020 and still no direct deposit of my stimulus payment, no answers or help!  What a joke this is.  This was supposed to speed up the process.  I believe they have expended too much money and now we are on a waiting list of some sort.  There is no where to turn for answers at this point.  No help line or number to call as well.

Totally understand.. This is very frustrating.. and not being able to call and speak to someone makes it worse. The IRS is not prepared for these type of emergency, it's really upsetting!!!

@DoninGA There actually are hard and fast rules.

1. People who had DD info on file with the IRS (through getting a refund via their 2018 or 2019 taxes) got their stimulus first.  Note: The IRS does not send stimulus via DD if you OWED money when you filed.  This wave went out regardless of income.
2. After that first DD wave, the IRS started mailing out checks to the lowest income earners that didn't have their DD info on file.  They estimate 5 million mailed checks per week, progressively moving up in income range.
3. While the mailed check waves are happening, the IRS will continue DD for people who have not yet received their check but provide their info on the web portal.  Again here, income is immaterial for DD.

Sounds like in the examples you provided, none had set up direct deposit through the portal. Is that correct?

Rep. Gus Bilirakis in a briefing this morning w the IRS, states portal is being refined thru the weekend (system will be down 23rd, 24th, & 25th from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m.) and that by TUES the 28th = EVERYBODY waiting on date should have an EXACT date for there check

-IN ADDITION by tuesday the 28th the updated portal should fix the "Payment Status not available" and the "cannot verify eligibility" and error messages that many people are receiving

Same boat, in Montana. Owed Federal Money, State owed me. Had to change my DD info first week of April. Been getting the same message-

The only other thing I think it might be other than a glitch for those updating their bank info via electronic filling service via TT, Hewitt, etc is IRS is overwhelmed understaffed and after news released on how much of a **bleep**show this has become, government is requiring future issued stimulus checks to be triple checked even after their reports of an 8-day hiatus for DD bank info updates, especially if DD account information is updated to prevent from them accidentally sending paper checks and a DD. I'm glass half full kinda dude, realize this is first time government is doing something like this and it's not going to work flawlessly. 

I'm going to keep waiting, money is tight as is for everyone on here. My biggest worry is falling through the cracks and not getting a check at all. I'm prepared to be patient, because I know after this virus subsides we all have a major case against the IRS and Federal Government to put us through these trying times when money was giving to those who were deceased, people who made more the the requirement, etc so if it comes to that I'm ready to lock arms and march to the capital to do whatever I got to do to get what I'm rightfully owed if not plus interest for having to max out credit cards doing these times that otherwise what not do so. So their guaranteed $1,200 better be bumped up even more.
