Not true at all NCperson!  If you see my comment above yours, I went into the Get my Payment Status upon the launch on Wednesday, April 15, 2020 at 7:00 A.M. and did not encounter any issues.  I submitted my bank account information and completed the steps in under five minutes.  I should have received my payment this Thursday, April 23, 2020 if this was the case.  I did not receive anything today either!

 

Adding our direct deposit information was supposed to speed up the process.  I believe they have expended too much money and now we are on a waiting list of some sort.  There is no where to turn for answers at this point.  No help line or number to call as well.
