Got email stating worksheet 8615 was fixed online version. When I walk through the steps again, and print the form, it looks exactly the same as before no data changed?

Please delete the 8615, it appears to be stuck in your cookies. Follow these steps:

  1. Delete the form:
    1. Open or continue your return in TurboTax.
    2. In the left menu, select Tax Tools
    3. then select  Tools.
    4. In the pop-up window named Tool Center,
    5. choose Delete a form.
    6. Select Delete next to the form/schedule/worksheet in the list and follow the instructions.
  2. Log out of your return.
  3. Try one or more of the following:
  4. Log back into your return.
  5. Enter the form again.

I am still having the same issue.  I deleted the form and walked through and the data is still the same on the worksheet as the time when it was rejected.

Have you tried doing an update yet? If you are using the Online version, to do this, go to the Online menu and select Check for Updates.

If the problem persists, please contact TurboTax and speak with an agent.  TurboTax customer service/support does not have a single phone number but has many different phone numbers based on the type of platform used.  So that we can direct your call to the best person/department to help you:

  1. Click on this link: Contact Us
  2. Select your TurboTax platform.
  3. Ask your question / state your problem.  Do NOT use the word "refund' or you will get a phone number for tax refunds.
  4. Click Submit.
  5. On the next screen, choose the Call option and follow the instructions.  You will be given the approximate wait time.

You'll get a toll-free number to a TurboTax expert who is specially-trained to handle your particular issue.

Where is the online menu?  I am unable to find it anywhere?  Everything I read states that on the online version this just happens automatically.

If you are in the CD/Download go to top line, and click on ONLINE and then the first drop-down is updates and click on that.

The online program is connected directly to TurboTax and always has the latest information, so you do not have to do the updates.

The CD/desktop program (which is not online) requires you to do the updates.
