Filed our taxes before the Child tax credit was updated. I've gotten our refund, do I need to do anything else or will the send us the difference?

The increase for the child tax credit has not been passed --- it is currently in the Senate. You do not need to do anything.

The new thing talked about is for 2024, not 2023. There is no increase in the child tax credit for 2023.
