What does that mean "Federal status not updating?" Not updating where??
Showing "rejected" where? Where/how did you see that it was previously "accepted?"
Did you efile? If so, then what is displayed at the Tax Home when you log into your Online TurboTax account? What status is shown there--does it say accepted, rejected, printed, started, or what?
Or did you use desktop software?
Where is your federal tax return showing Rejected?
Did you receive an email from TurboTax for the status of the e-filed tax return? If so, did the email indicate that the federal return was rejected or accepted by the IRS?
Are you looking at the TurboTax Tax Home web page for the status?

I used desktop software. I e-filed both federal and state. Federal rejected =state rejected. I tried several times using Turbo Tax's fixes. No help. Did some other research, tried a couple of different fixes. One finally worked. Thinking I only had a limited number of rejects, I e-filed my federal without e-filing my state, planning on doing state once federal went through. Federal went through but TT never updated my return. I have since received my refund from federal. I have tried TT's "fixes" but e-file status is still rejected and I can't file my state return.

I am looking on TT's home page, states that I have not filed my taxes yet. Guess that is because I filed with the software.
Turbo Tax Online won't show your Desktop return. For the Desktop program you have to check the filing status inside the program. Open your return and go up to menu item
File > Electronic Filing > Check Electronic Filing Status
It has to show federal accepted before you can efile state.
Right, I did. And it is not updating my status and I can't file my state.
Yes there are other posts about Desktop status not updating. I haven't heard anymore. I think the moderator has been notified. I'll add you to the list. You should call in too
