Estimated payments to make next year

Turbo tax prepared estimates for next year 2024. Before filing it said "Do not mail these vouchers with your
Payments to 2023 income tax return." But after I submitted the tax returns, I see that the vouchers were submitted with the Tax return 2023. I didn't select anything to be submitted. Why did that happen? The federal returns were already accepted.

Those 1040ES voucher are NOT for paying 2023 tax due.  They are for making optional estimated quarterly payments for 2024, to help you avoid a big tax bill at tax time next year.  You are not required to use them.     Those vouchers were not sent to the IRS when you e-filed.
