Error on 2020 taxes 1099-DIV entered twice

We were reviewing our 2020 taxes and noticed we had the same 1099-DIV entered twice. Removing the duplication lowered our taxes quite a bit. How do we amend our 2020 return to get the overpayment back?

since you have the calculations and it is a simple change,

you should be able to prepare the 1040-X yourself manually.

It's pretty straight-forward.

prior year amendments have to be mailed at the Post Office.
