I have a TurboTax Visa card I had my fees taken out by Santa Barbara Bank but I can still load money onto my TurboTax card and the account and routing number from my tax return on page two matches the account routing number on my TurboTax card on the website. I don't think it matters though If you had fees taken out you're getting a paper check.

it is working that way this time around Santa Barbara Bank already posted it on their website that if they took your fees and you used TurboTax that you're getting a paper check

A portal is going to open up this week probably Tuesday or Wednesday. when that portal opens up you can go on and add your direct deposit info to that portal and you will get your stimulus payment wherever you choose

Yes you will get it if you have a NetSpend card you will not get it if you have a TurboTax card. The TurboTax card is issued from Santa Barbara Bank when you have your fees taken out it says it right on their website and it says you will be getting a check. If you opted to have your fees taken out and loaded to a NetSpend card or chime card or anything like that you will get the direct deposit to your account. The only ones who are not getting a direct deposit are people who have fees taking out or got the refund advance and had their money put on a TurboTax card.

Who the hell is that? Most of that post was horrible English and made no sense. It clearly says on several websites including Santa Barbara and the US department of Treasury that if you had fees taken out or got the loan that you're getting a check. Santa Barbara Bank said they are not dealing with any stimulus payments that were sent to them and that we are all getting a check if we had our fees taking out by them meaning Santa Barbara Bank. Santa Barbara Bank has a whole thing on their front page saying they are not dealing with any stimulus payments and they are not forwarding any stimulus payments. The reason for that is that they could not take a small fee out to process it so they said f*** everyone. That was on 4/10 that they posted that

I got some information from the US department of Treasury they said that if they sent your direct deposit out and it was rejected by a bank or if the account was closed that you will get a paper check and they're not allowing anyone to change the direct deposit information because under federal law they cannot because of fraud. So you won't be able to change your direct deposit information if you already had one on file which sucks.

Im gonna hope for the best but prepare for the worst. SBTG has no way of making a penny off stimulus money so I do not blame them for not lifting a finger to help us. Such is the the American way, better or for worse. Just be prepared to give info to portal on 17th

Bro I had my refund paid by them. My 5k check went to them 1st! My stimulus came in last night. Don't worry its coming. You may not have been first round but were you first round on refunds??? Relax a week or 2. Your money is gonna be their. I know alot of folks don't have that option and I am sorry. Yet it IS COMING!!

@DianaHe I usually tell people who say relax its coming it'll be there when it gets there that they must not have empathy,but atleats you understand many of us can't wait.i do promise if TT screws this up there will be a online petition to sue them for fraudulent practice on changing/altering tax forms i.e them adding an acct number that isn't accurate vs our card accts,we will find something and will come after TT, especially if I lose my gd house 😠😠
