Do I need to file amended tax returns for previous years (say 2017-2018) if I receive corrected W2 forms? My employer was not supposed to deduct social security tax. The corrected W2 forms will have no social security tax but have the same amounts for wages, federal and state taxes, and Medicare. I would basically get a refund of my social security. Thanks

See this Turbo Tax FAQ on how to amend a prior year.
My question is whether I need to amned them given the explained circumstances.
Please see this Turbo Tax FAQ on when to amend. https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/amending/help/do-i-need-to-amend/00/27607
