I filed our 2019 taxes on July 13th. Since then, I printed the forms and looked them over and suddenly noticed that Short schedule SE showed a much higher amount for income on line 2 than what it should have. I did some calculations and realized that it actually added the clergy housing allowance income two times. How will I get this corrected? Will the IRS find this math error and send me back the $900+ I’m now owed due to it over-calculating my SE tax? Will I have to amend? Just wondering what my next step is after the IRS accepts the forms.

See this TurboTax FAQ for help with amending.
Will that be absolutely necessary, or is this something that the IRS will handle as a math error and send me a C12 notice?
