Can you claim the QBI deduction one year, then no longer qualify the following year and not claim the carryforward from the previous year?

Does Form 8995 need to filed in the year you no longer meet the requirements for QBI?

Even if you no longer qualify for the QBI this year you still have the carryover from the prior year which should be entered so even if you cannot use it this year it will be preserved and carried forward to a tax year it can be used.

So will the form for QBI with carryforward be filed with my return even in years that I don't qualify for the QBI?
