I received the message Take Action: Your refund is delayed Reference code 1541. Never seen that in the history of filing my taxes ! Anybody else seen this?

Good morning. I spoke with someone. She informed me that because I have EIC and additional child credit check to make sure you qualified. She say if I don't receive payment by Feb 27th then to call back.

Just got off the phone, they said everything is good, no letter or need anything else from me, might take 30 more days, but should have direct deposit by 2/27, if not to call back, hope so I cannot wait another 30 to 45 days for my money.

I called this morning and they said mine is being reviewed for income verification  She said not to call back until April 19th if I have not received refund or letter from them.

I just talked to the IRS about that reference 1541 and they told me that bc I had to recertify for my EIC and ACTC that my refund was delayed bc they had to check to make sure I don't have any offsets and they sent me a letter dated for Feb 18th and I should receive my refund within six weeks of that date

I’ve tried serval times and can not get a actual person on the phone. I see a few different reason why anyone would get the 1541 code, and would like to verify my own to make sure it’s okay, however I can’t lifeforum on the phone at all. So  Flustering

My problem is just like Austin’smommy001. I just want answers and a letter, when I try to get my transcripts for 2019 they aren’t even viewable on the page. Where do I find them? Maybe this means my taxes weren’t processed yet. They tell me it’s because of the PATH ACT and that I’m under review. My returns were accepted 1/22... and here I am almost a month later and still no letter to let me know what is going on.

cparr2289 I file my return on 1/20 and was accepted 1/21. I used HRB and paid to get my return double check. Updated to 1541 on 2/09 and have been here ever since. We file joint have 3 year old and EIC.

I’m on hold with the irs, however the lady I first spoke with said they started releasing refunds the 15th. She is double checking my account now but said it’s just from the PATH why everyone is getting the code. Should see the refund by the 27th. I’m still on hold waiting for her to double check, and will update if she comes back with anything different.
