Enter the Long Term Care Premiums you paid in your Federal return, in the Medical Expenses section, even if you are not itemizing deductions.
This will transfer into your Wisconsin state return.

Thanks for the answer, finished up and filed!
It is apparently NOT WORKING CORRECTLY in tax year 2021. My LTC premiums appear on my TT schedule A Line 6 as entered, but is NOT being carried over to WI SB Line 7. If I "zoom" from SB Line 7 to TT "Long Term Care Insurance Worksheet" for 2021, line 1on that worksheet is blank. If I right click on that to "Data Source" it points to a "Data Source" dialog that shows "LTC Insurance Worksheet Line 1, and indicates it is "From the federal return, Long Term Care insurance amounts.".
[UPDATE: This was my own error - see below.]
2/20/22: For me the LTCi premiums from Easy Step were carried into line 7 on WI Sch. B, BUT ALSO into line 6. That is, the "Additional medical insurance premiums" and SSA-1099 Medicare B premiums that were noted in the Easy Step section were NOT correctly imported into line 6, but replaced with the same number as line 7!! This I noticed only after I had filed another return, so now I'll have to file a printed amended return :( And I'll have to review previous year's returns, too, in case this is a carryover glitch.
It turns out that I fell into a common trap on this one. I had incorrectly entered the LTC premiums as LTC expenses. I then correctly entered them after reviewing again and put them in the right place. (I also discovered that if you click on a field, in this case the WI LTC Insurance Worksheet, and select Override, that override "sticks" even if you didn't actually enter anything.)
It might help if TT had in big bold letters "Do NOT enter LTC Insurance Premiums here". 😉

@WI 1 BTW, I looked at my WI SB after I corrected my error, and the numbers are correct, and appropriately different. (Maybe you did an override along the way for one of those fields, then that override "sticks" until you clear it - perhaps that was your issue?)
I had not clicked on any of the fields until after I had discovered the errors. Good to know that I may have to do so to clear overrides if TT ever fixes this. My view is I shouldn't have to read through tax instructions and review every line if I've purchased TT and followed the EasyStep correctly. Otherwise why buy software when free fillable forms are available? Maybe I did something incorrectly -- I got caught in the LTC expenses vs LTC premiums in a past year so I knew not to do that one again! -- but I reviewed my entries and they are correct. Thanks for your thoughts
@WI 1 At lest in TT Premier, it does *not* seem to be broken for 2021. FYI, the override that was "stuck" for me was on line 1 of the WI Schedule SB LTC worksheet. I suggest that if one of the numbers on your 1040 doesn't look right, use "zoom" and then finally "data source" (or something like that) to make sure there isn't an override somewhere. (If you right click on a field, and the context menu says "clear override" (or something like that), then there is an override there.
TurboTax does correctly transfer long-term care insurance premiums to line 7 on Wisconsin Schedule SB if you enter them in Deductions & Credits as Gross long-term care premiums on the screen How much did you spend on insurance premiums?
Overrides prevent electronic filing and void the TurboTax 100% Accurate Calculation Guarantee.
@ErnieS0 Your reply is a bit off the mark, as though you did not read through the entire thread. The fact that it *does* seem to work correctly, and that overrides can cause issues when filing were already stated earlier in this thread.
@ErnieS0 Can you address the issue I raised earlier, two different problems with WI Schedule SB, Form 1 on two returns:
1) 2/20/22: LTCi premiums from Easy Step were carried into line 7 on WI Sch. SB, BUT ALSO into line 6. That is, the "Additional medical insurance premiums" and SSA-1099 Medicare B premiums that were noted in the Easy Step section were NOT correctly imported into line 6, but replaced with the same number as line 7!! After this I checked return #...
2) No ""Additional medical insurance premiums" I had entered in EasyStep were imported into WI School B, line 6. This I noticed only after I had filed another return, so now I'll have to file a printed amended return :( And I'll have to review previous year's returns, too, in case this is a carryover glitch.
@WI 1 To me, this feels like you still have an override somewhere, either on SB or on one of the forms that feeds SB. JRJ
I am not seeing either of those occurrences on my dummy Wisconsin return. I suggest you speak live with a Tax Expert who can do a screen share and not at your return.
