I already received my refund before I realized that I could claim an additional child as per my divorce agreement. I sent an amendment and should receive the additional $2000. My Question is, if my amendment was not processed before the stimulus checks are mailed, will I be able to get the $500 for the additional child after?

As of now, The IRS will use your already processed original return for the stimulus amount , but they also will provide a method for you to receive additional funds when you prepare and file your return next year. If that process changes and the IRS is able to pay you additional funds from an amended return this year, you'll see updated information at www.irs.gov
You would need to contact the IRS for further assistance regarding this matter. Their phone number is 800-829-1040. https://www.irs.gov/help/telephone-assistance
