nothing is marked off on standard deduction how do i fix

amend a return to include standard deduction

Why do you need to change it?   You shouldn’t need to amend for that.  Or did you itemize deductions.  The Standard Deduction or Itemized Deductions are on 1040 line 12.  It is automatically applied unless your itemized deductions are more.
