When it came to the screen where it ask if I received a third stim check, I said "No" ... When in reality I did receive it. Just an honest mistake and memory loss of how many checks we received.
I filed the taxes already. What will happen next, if anything?

The IRS cross checks for incorrect answers about the 3rd stimulus. The IRS knows you got the payment and they will reduce your refund by the amount you incorrectly put on line 30 of your Form 1040. This will delay your refund, but there is nothing you need to do about it except wait.
Awesome. Thanks!
How long does it typically take? I accidentally did the same thing

Per the IRS website, usually a refund is processed within 21 days after e-filing. While they have mentioned that if the stimulus check information is entered incorrectly will cause delays, they have not given a timeline of how long that delay will be. However, there is no need to amend your tax return since the IRS will adjust the amounts on their own.
I accidentally did the same thing also. I filed on Jan31 and still haven’t received my refund. Is there a place to contact for delays?
And anyone else that made this mistake, have your received your refund yet?
Still no refund and I filed 2/1. I have no idea when I’ll be receiving it since I made that mistake. There’s no timeline anywhere that I could find.
The changes that have taken place over the last two years has been unprecedented for everyone and that includes the IRS. The timeline is unknown however the systems put in place for checking these figures should be automated. Continue to check your IRS Transcript to see your return. Get Transcript information is updated once per day, usually overnight. There’s no need to check more often.
Where’s My Refund? has the most up to date information available about your refund.
Just received the state refund but not the federal. Typically would've received both at the same time so expecting a delay but not too bad at the moment.
Federal and state refunds come from completely separate entities, There is no rule as to which one will come first or how much time there will be between their arrivals.
Once your federal return has been accepted by the IRS, only the IRS has any control. TurboTax does not receive any updates from the IRS. Your ONLY source of information about your refund now is the IRS.
You need your filing status, your Social Security number and the exact amount (line 35a of your 2021 Form 1040) of your federal refund to track your Federal refund:

If you chose to have your TurboTax fees deducted from your federal refund, that will take some extra time, while the third party bank handles the refund processing.

Any luck yet?
No :( It's been over 30 days for me and nothing.
Hi!
I did this as well and finally got an update on mine after filing on the 1st of February. I finally got an updated date of March 7th for deposit.
