First, are you sure you need a PIN from the IRS? PIN's from the IRS are by request only, and you'd have received it in the mail. It's not super common. More often, people get their prior year AGI confused for a PIN, as it's required to e-file. There's some good info on them here: https://ttlc.intuit.com/replies/3388576 If you're locked out and do need a PIN, you'll probably want to take an extension and file once you receive it.

You'll want to wait until your returns have been accepted before you mail in your amendment. And yes, you'll need to mail it in, unfortunately. But to do the actual amending process, just:
log in to TurboTax,
scroll down until you see Your Tax Returns and Documents,
click Show,
and the top option in the right-hand sidebar is Amend (change) return.
Just click through there and you'll be on your way.

If you no longer have access to your email, which is needed to reset your password, you'll have to complete an Account Recovery Request here: https://ttlc.intuit.com/questions/1899319-e-mail-change-request-for-your-turbotax-account
Please follow the instructions on that page.

The system is set up to save any information you added when you sign out. Since you're not seeing the info you already added, it's most likely that you signed in to another account - it happens all the time! Often people use their email address as a username on one account and a unique username, like "Bob1945" on another, but both accounts share the same email address. You may try the "I forgot my username or password" link on the Log In screen to see if you don't have another account. Also, please remember we're always here to help: https://support.turbotax.intuit.com/contact/

According to the IRS instructions, found here: https://www.irs.gov/individuals/international-taxpayers/foreign-tax-credit-how-to-figure-the-credit
You will not be subject to the foreign tax credit limit and will be able to claim the foreign tax credit without using Form 1116 if all of the following requirements are met.
Your only foreign source gross income for the tax year is passive income, as defined in Publication 514 under Separate Limit Income.
Your qualified foreign taxes for the tax year are not more than $300 ($600 if filing a joint return).
All of your gross foreign income and the foreign taxes are reported to you on a payee statement (such as a Form 1099-DIV or 1099-INT).
You elect this procedure for the tax year.
If you make this election, you cannot carry back or carry over any unused foreign tax to or from this tax year.

For some reason, the software believes you sold your house. You'll want to double check the home sale section and make sure your answers are correct. There are two ways to reach this section: 1) Log in and click "Take me to my return." In the upper right, click the Search button and type in "Home Sale" and press enter. You should see "Jump To Home Sale" as the top result. Click that and you'll be taken to a question asking if you sold your main home. Once you answer this as "No" you shouldn't be asked about selling your house anymore.
2) You can also get to this page by logging in, clicking "Take me to my return" and then in the top header clicking Federal Taxes > Income and Expenses (here you may have to choose to "I'll choose what I work on") > Less Common Income (towards the bottom) > Sale of Home.
If this was a rental property, on Federal Taxes > Income and Expenses, scroll down to Rental Properties and Royalties to double check your answers there.
