It says "Form 8615: Filing status should be blank." but it doesn't give me any way to change it. What should I do?

Hi aaryk.neubert,

I ran into the same problem. If you delete the form (Tools -> Delete a Form -> Form 8615) you should be able to file with no issues. Good luck!

doesn't work for desktop version ... no "Tools" there.  This answer is only for online version. Crazy! We pay for the desktop version, should have more service

There's not a "tool" tab, but I was able to find delete form by looking at each of the options at top of screen / ribbon.  Sorry I for got which one, but about the 3-4th from left

You have to be in form 8615 and then under the Forms tab you have an option to delete the form
