My personal information on where I work and my income are incorrect, How can I correct that?

You can change or delete your W-2 info if you haven't filed your taxes yet.

In TurboTax Online or CD/Download:

1. Open your return by selecting Take me to my return.
2. From the top menu, select Search and type-in W-2.
3. Select the Jump to link in the search results.
4. On the Here's your W-2 info screen, select Edit next to the W-2 you want to change.

In the TurboTax Mobile App:

1. Open your return by selecting Take me to my return.
2. Select the menu button in the upper left-hand corner and choose Federal Taxes.
3. Select Income and Expenses.
4. From here, you will see Your income and expenses.
5. Go to Wages and Salaries, select the three dots next to the person whose W-2 you'd like to edit.
6. Select Edit to make your changes.

If you already e-filed, wait until your return is either accepted or rejected.

• If rejected, you can edit the W-2 as instructed above before resubmitting or paper-filing your return.
• If accepted (or if you already paper-filed), you'll probably need to amend your return if the edits you're making will cause your taxes to change.
