1042-s and 1099 int for non resident alien

I am a non resident alien in the first 5 years of my f1 visa. I opened two bank accounts in USA. For which I got some bonus amount. One bank said that they will give me 1042s and other said that they will give me 1099-int. This joining bonus will be shown as interest amount. Will I need to show this in my 1040 nr form ?

1042-s and 1099 int for non resident alien

As a non-resident alien , you file 1040-NR   ( not supported by TurboTax ) -- suggest use SprinTax , TurboTax partner or get help from your school's foreign student office.

And yes all US sourced/connected earnings ( no matter how reported)  are taxable income

You are correct ( and I am wrong ) ---  section871(h) has repealed taxation on portfolio interest on most Non-Resident Aliens  ( with a few exceptions -- that would not apply to you anyways ).  Thank you from bring this to my attention.
Although you are probably going to have an issue in that IRS will have a copy of the  1099-INT ( which should not have been issued  -- your bank should have been told that you are an US person.  Do you have an SSN or ITIN or what?
