I was hoping to file my taxes using TurboTax online before the fees go up on February 28th, 2018, yet the forms are not available from the IRS yet.

I was hoping to file my taxes using TurboTax online before the fees go up on February 28th, 2018. Right now I could save $30 by doing this, however I am not able to complete my taxes and file as the forms I need are not available from the IRS. I just wanted to find out if there was any way I could still pay the fee at this discount while I wait for these forms to be available. Just for reference, I have filled out all the information I could using the TurboTax app, but I get to a screen that actually shows that this is a nationwide delay and the forms are not available. I will only be available to file after 3/8/2018. This was recently updated, as I attempted to file early February and this same screen showed that I would be able to file after 2/25/2018, and when I checked it today the date available to file was updated to 3/8/2018.

The answer below initially seemed to work, but now TurboTax will not allow me to file unless I pay again. I cannot determine how to apply the previously paid fees.

Yes, there is - you can use the information in the article below to trigger payment. However, if you already haven't, then you will need to enter a few screens worth of basic information like your name, address, and what state you have income in (this is important so you can trigger the state payment also to lock in that pricing - unless you live in a no income tax state).

This answer initially seemed to work, but now TurboTax is not showing the previously paid fees. There does not seem to be a way to apply the previous purchase.

Check to make sure that you are logging into the correct account that you paid on now that you are ready to file - it's really common for users to have more than one account and maybe you are logging into the wrong one. You can have a list of usernames sent to each email address you have using this link: https://myturbotax.intuit.com/account-recovery/

Also, did you originally pay by credit card and do you have an order number handy? You may have to contact phone support so they can run a trace on your order to apply it to the purchase or give you a credit. Go to this link here to start the contact process -
