When and how my federal tax will be withdrawn?

I filed the return and I owe to IRS.
When filing I've set up automatic charging from my savings account,
but I can't find any trace of this in the final return document.
(Instead I see four confusing vouchers for an amounts I don't recognize)

When and how my federal tax will be withdrawn?

The money is withdrawn from your bank account on the date you specified ( (if you did not select a date, the debit date will automatically default to 04/18/2017).  IF you still don't see the debit 7-10 days after the date you chose for the debit or your return has been accepted, call IRS e-file Payment Services at 1-888-353-4537 or contact your state tax agency, as appropriate.

You can try this to check the direct debit date you selected:

  • Sign back into TurboTax Online.

  • Click on Add a State to quickly access your original return (don't worry you are not adding another state, this is just a way to get back into your return). Add a State is in the lower section of your Tax Timeline screen.

  • Click on File and your debit information will come back up.

When and how my federal tax will be withdrawn?

Can this information be retrieved from TurboTax? I did enter this information, but a) I forgot what I've entered and b) there is no trace of it on the TurboTax site...

When and how my federal tax will be withdrawn?

Please my edited answer below and let me know if that is "helpful" or not, whether it works. I would try TurboTax first, then as a last resort, contact the IRS.

When and how my federal tax will be withdrawn?

My Indiana tax filing has been accepted. I set it up to have my payment withdrawn on the 10th of March. It has not been withdrawn as of today April 6, 2020.                 Vern

If you printed your tax return you can verify that information on the Filing instructions page.

You can also contact the Indiana Department of revenue at 317-232-2240.
