When I enter a certain qualified (non-taxable) COLLEGE expense into the QTP (529) program, it gets reported on the worksheet as an ELEMENTARY AND SECONDARY expense (taxable). FYI: the item is "computer expense".

Reporting a software error
I am a resident of New Jersey with nothing to do with the states of New York and Ohio but my TurboTax return included tax returns for New York and Ohio which don't apply to me! On TurboTax, I am doing my daughter's return and she is a resident of New York and last year I did my son's return and he is a resident of Ohio. Apparently TurboTax can't keep track of which state returns belong to which federal returns.
After completing my Federal and State Taxes using Turbotax Deluxe download, I now have conflicting answers re State Tax Due. In the upper Left corner it says $283 under PA Tax Due. But when I run Review, the TAX Summary for 2021 says Your Pennsylvania Balance Due = 0. When I look at the Form PA-40, I see $283, however as I begin the efile process, it still says I owe 0 State taxes. What do I do????

It sounds like the review is showing some type of summary. Do you have more than one state form? TurboTax will combine state results which might turn out to be $0 aggregate. If the $283.00 is an accurate amount that you owe on PA return then it is okay to file your return because the forms show the correct amount.
When I try to enter my vehicle taxes, I cannot enter any numbers.
This is the TurboTax Business edition, I cannot enter anything where the 0 shows in the box.

when using turbotax desktop version - using the 8915F worksheets - the software generated a ZERO (0) in the Line - C - even though BOX D was check for the Coronavirus Qualified disaster (reported in 2020) in its worksheet and transferred it to the 8915F form - where ITS was NOT FLAGGED as an error in the Federal review and it allowed me to transmit the forms to the IRS (Federal) only for it to be rejected by the IRS software then the state failed because of it - i did some research and replaced the generated 0 in line C with a space on the worksheet - and was able to successfully create a 8915F form with nothing on line C with the D checked and was accepted by the IRS (and state) on the second attempt - this was an embarrassing mistake and i hope the IRS does not flag my returns because of it - PLEASE fix this error. THANK you!
