I have self employment income and received a 1099-MISC . That income is showing up in two spots - is that correct? In the 1099 section and the self employment section?

I have self employment income and received a 1099-MISC . That income is showing up in two spots - is that correct? In the 1099 section and the self employment section?
Yes, but the income should only be recorded once on your tax return. Some of the summary screens in TurboTax are for the convenience of the user to be able to go back and edit and/or access the information entered. Therefore to find the 1099 MISC form entered, some may go to the 1099 MISC section and others may go to the self-employed section, but the entry and edit in either section is going to the same data, only entered one time in TurboTax.
