With 2017 TurboTax Deluxe, does it support investments sales? In 2016, it was removed and then added back in to Deluxe. Does 2017 Deluxe still support investment sales?

Yes the downloaded version does have the Sch D ... and it was removed back in 2014 and put back in 2015.

Actually it was tax year 2014 that had the issue of the desktop editions being changed from the prior years.  Tax years 2015 and 2016 have every one of the desktop editions with all the same forms and schedules.

The 2017 Deluxe desktop edition supports investment sales reported on a Schedule D and Form 8949.  Go to the desktop CD/Download editions website and scroll down the screen under the Deluxe edition and click on View Forms - https://turbotax.intuit.com/personal-taxes/cd-download/
