I am sorry, but we here on the Community Board do not have access to your TurboTax account to determine if you have been charged any fees. However, you can check the fees that were charged to you by TurboTax by following these steps:

  • While in your Tax Home,
  • Scroll down to Tax Tools,
  • Select Tools,
  • Select My Fees.

If you haven't already filed your return, then follow these directions to remove any un-wanted charges:

TurboTax Free Edition is for simple tax situations. It only includes Form 1040 for reporting W-2 income (from a job), interest and dividend income (1099-INT or 1099-DIV) from bank accounts and stocks, Earned Income Credit (EIC), child tax credits, and claiming the standard deduction (most people).

It won't work for itemized deductions, small business income, 1099-MISC income, stock sales, rental property, or things like student loan interest deductions.

@marigoldflower

When you start in TurboTax Online Free, you will know if there is a fee before you file and always have the option of changing your mind about using TurboTax up until you e-file and/or print the return.
