My wife and I are filing married jointly the same as last year. So why does TBT ask for the AGI for both myself and my wife? Is there a difference?

Confuses me, too. We filed jointly, too, so I entered our AGI for each of us.
If you file a joint return the AGI is the same for both of you. It makes a difference only if you file a different status in a subsequent year.
Thanks for the responses guys. The reason I'm sensitive about it is: this question was the reason that I couldn't efile last year. I had to mail my taxes in by snail mail. I still haven't gotten reimbursed for not being able to efile.
So, my taxes have been filed today. Now I await to see if there are any new reasons that the IRS will reject my efiling status. Of course I hope everything works out well this year.
