Ready to Mail?  Sorry but Printed or Ready to Mail means you have to print out your return and mail it to the IRS yourself.  So it has not been filed yet.  How to change from Mail to Efile <a rel="nofollow" target="_blank" href="https://ttlc.intuit.com/replies/5561257">https://ttlc.intuit.com/replies/5561257</a>

It means you selected the File by Mail option instead of e-file or your return is not eligible for e-filing. You will need to print and mail your return if you want to file a paper return or if your return is not eligible to e-file.
