Why is there an "ELECTRONIC POSTMARK - CERTIFICATION OF ELECTRONIC FILING" for my federal return but not my state return?

I e-Filed my federal and New York State returns and received notice that they were accepted yesterday.

Today I printed my returns and there was an "ELECTRONIC POSTMARK - CERTIFICATION OF ELECTRONIC FILING" document for the federal return only in the .pdf file.

But there was no certification of filing for the New York State return.

Why not?

Thank you.

Did you just file? You may have to wait a bit for your state return to be accepted.

Thank you for your response but that's not it.  I received notice that my NY state return was accepted yesterday.  If I look at the status in the app it says it was accepted and I received an e-mail from Turbotax yesterday that it was accepted.

What I am talking about is when I save a .pdf copy of my return from the Turbotax desktop app, it has a certification of filing page for the federal return I filed but it has no certification document showing that the NY state return was filed.

I would like to have some kind of official document showing the NY State return was e-filed and accepted similar to the one that is in the .pdf for the federal return.

Still looking for an answer to this.

When I save a copy of the returns I filed it has a page with a certification of electronic filing in it for the FEDERAL return but not for the NY State return.

On the certification for the federal rerturn document it says:

The Intuit Electronic Postmark shows the date and time Intuit received your federal tax return. The Intuit
Electronic Postmark documents the filing date of your income tax return, and the electronic postmark
information should be kept on file with your tax return and other tax-related documentation.

But it only has this "postmark" document for the FEDERAL return.  There is no certification for the NY STATE return.

How do I obtain a certification of electronic filing ("postmark") document for the NY STATE return?

Again:  The status of BOTH returns shows that they were accepted two days ago.  I also received separate e-mails from Turbotax indicating that the NY return was filed and another one saying that the NY return was accepted.  But how do I obtain official certification of electronic filing for the NY return?

The Electronic Postmark info only applies to your Federal return.

You have email documentation that your New York return was filed, and accepted.
