That’s not true about because the government didn’t open yet I know people that filed the same time I did which was one week ago and there’s all got excepted and mine is still pending also after one week and I’m wondering why also

The IRS typically takes a sample of tax returns each year before the opening date in small batches to test the processing system. Therefore, a small number of users will see accepted rather than pending.
Once the IRS officially opens the filing season, it can take a few days for users to see their return status change from pending to accepted or rejected.
At this point, a status of pending is normal and not an indication that anything is wrong.
