You did not pay your tax "through" TurboTax and in fact, TurboTax never knows how, when or even if you paid your tax due. If you set up a direct debit to pay your tax that was a transaction between you and the IRS (or your state). TurboTax does not pay your tax and will have no record of your payment. You have to watch your own bank or credit card account---that will be your proof that you paid the tax you owed.
I’m trying to understand if I use your services why am I not getting a receipt stating I paid for your services. I’m still not understanding why you at least give a confirmation number stating the service was paid thru a credit card
I don’t care about a badge. I care about a receipt that I paid the fee with your service🙄
The IRS and/or state do not issue receipts for the tax due that you paid. TurboTax does not even know if you paid, so there will not be any sort of receipt from TT showing you paid your tax due.
As for your fees that were paid to TurboTax for using the software:
how do i know if the irs took payment
@ad5333 Your proof that you paid the IRS for federal tax due will be your own bank or credit card statement.
