it keeps taking me back to an over deposit on an ira in 2018...I did not have an over deposit -- I had a zero deposit. it won't take the zero and won't let me file..
this is ridiculous -- how do I get out of the loop?
An over funding of an IRA would be reported on form 5329. You can look to see if you have that form in your program, and if so delete it as follows:
1. Find the Tax Tools option on your left menu bar and click on it
2. Click on Tools
3. Find Delete a Form and click on it
4. Look for form 5329 in the list of forms and click on the option to delete it
