If your daughter was the only qualifying dependent on your tax return and you removed the dependent then you cannot file as Head of Household. In order to file as HOH you must have a qualifying dependent. If you are not HOH then your standard deduction is less. More of your income is taxable now.
CAN she be claimed as your dependent? If she CAN be claimed then she made a mistake and must change her own return. But you will not be able to e-file---you will have to file by mail if you can claim her.
It is important to know if she can be claimed so that you can both file correctly.

If you qualify as Head of Household, when you enter your marital status (single or married filing separately) into MyInfo, and then enter your qualifying dependent, TurboTax will offer HOH as your filing status.
WHO CAN I CLAIM AS A DEPENDENT?
You can claim a child, relative, friend, or fiancé (etc.) as a dependent on your 2021 taxes as long as they meet the following requirements:
Qualifying child
Qualifying relative
When you add someone as a dependent, we'll ask a series of questions to make sure you can claim them. There may be other tax benefits you can get when you claim a dependent.
